I've been going back and forth between these two phones; I wanted the HTC because it feels more like an upgrade (from Optimus V), whereas I don't feel as though there's much to the Samsung - although I may be wrong - it just seems quite average and plain from what I see.
I know there have been a lot of problems about the signal in the HTC but I heard if you update it, it will go away, so I don't think that should be a problem anymore. But I have heard from a couple of people about the phone freezing and whatnot. I heard the battery life is bad as well, does anyone know how long it lasts on average? I just need it to last me about 12 hours with lightly moderate use, since I charge it daily.
The Samsung is relatively new is I haven't heard much on that, which is why it's difficult deciding on which I should get. I've heard it's apparently faster and has a far better battery life than the HTC as far as I know but I'm not sure if this is worth it.
I use my phone mainly for browsing and apps that use data (so a phone with fast network would be nice), and texting; I don't call much but I would like a phone with good quality since the call quality on my Optimus V is terrible. From what I see so far, the Samsung seems like the safer choice, but, again, it doesn't feel like much of an upgrade and I'm not sure if it's worth it. Which phone is better overall since they're the same price right now?
