Ok so I've had an anonymous number calling me the last few nights. He calls between 12:30am - 1:05am and it's really getting weird. The night before last he called three times. The first time he was talking but I couldn't make since of it because I was still half asleep then the call dropped, the second and third time he called the phone was just silent.
Last night he called SIX times! The first call I asked who he was and I didn't recognize the name and told him he had the wrong number then I hung up. He called back right after, I asked him if he was stupid-that it was freakin 1AM and to stop calling. He said he wanted me to hear him 'pleasure' himself. I hung up. He then called the other 4 times, I just ignored the calls.
But I don't know what to do. My cell company says they can't block anonymous calls. Any ideas on what to do?
(Funny/gross/mean ideas are all welcome!)

Ok, if you are a woman you should be concerned. Often times stalkers will begin with watching then calling then actually physically coming to your home. For all you know this person could be just outside your home watching you. There is no such thing as being too cautious about things like this. You should report this to your local police department.

It could be some kid messing around (but it is late for that on a week night) or it could be someone you know or has a thing for you. If it is a guy with a thing for you he obviously has a unhealthy thing for you. Pay more attention of who is around you that might be watching you when you are out of the house. Do you have a neighbour that seems a bit odd or stares at you. It could be a janitor at school, college or work, a parking lot attendant or whoever.

The bottom line is don't take these calls lightly or assume they are some prank. This could be the beginning of something very dangerous for you. Good luck and be safe!

(Don't listen to Zeek! All that will happen then is he will have another number to call and if he has half a brain he won't call it anyway and if he does he can block the outgoing number with *99 or use a pay phone)

This is most likely a telemarketer or telephone solicitor. They often get random lists of phone numbers to dial--literally every combination of numbers in an Area Code (usually way out of town or state) that _can_ come up. Or, in modern call centers the computer does it all for them--they don't even dial the number, they literally click a button or press "enter" and the auto-dialer does the rest (basically the bare minimum of human interaction needed to avoid lawsuits). In either case, the only _guaranteed_ way to get off their list permanently is to cheat: Get huffy and tell them they just dialed an emergency line, the local version of 9-1-1. If you ask them to remove you from their list they may not comply--or they may grill you for information the way Sprint and MCI once did (basically building a database they can sell or use for ID theft purposes). Or they may just quietly sell the numbers to someone else who has no clue. Seriously. Just lie and tell them this is not a residence, that they dialed 9-1-1. If you only do this once a month it might even work.

THIS WILL ONLY WORK IF YOU HAVE A LANDLINE!

ok when he calls you tell him that your shuting off the phone so call your land line give him your number when he calls on anonymous answer hang up and then dial *69 and it will give you the last number that called you (this only works on landlines) even if it is restricted then you can call him when ever you wanty and mess with him :)

i hope i helped!
