No, you cannot run home windows cell eight applications. Apps coded for home windows cell 7 works on home windows phone eight however, Apps coded for home windows mobile 8 would not works on windows telephone 7. Behind the woods are some technical difference (i am not describing that) so, that's why home windows mobile 7 phones can't update to windows cell 8 don't fear, all developer(obviously) additionally develope apps for windows mobile 7. There may be best a slight code difference. In my opinion, handiest 'Temple Run' and 'Viber' requires home windows mobile eight, and likewise it requires 1GB RAM. Your telephone has simplest 512MB RAM (that's enough for home windows mobile) however, Microsoft is working for it. Soon it would be out for windows cell 7 gadgets. Sure! :D

No need to get any link. You'll get an update notification in the phone as soon as it becomes available in your country. Should you decide to buy the phone, just make sure to check the phone update box (found in settings), which will enable the automatic notification.
