The SDK is Software Development Kit.

It's a set of APIs and Libraries for programmers to program applications for the iPhone.

The next update for regular people comes out in June.

The SDK is for making applications for the iPhone.

So it's not an update for your iPhone. It's just tools that allow programmers to make programs for the iPhone.

there is in simple terms one application kit that is used. it is the iPhone SDK and that's downloaded from Apple as quickly as you pay your $ninety 9 builders registration fee. The Programming language is purpose C/Cocoa. seek for a e book on the purpose c language. The iPhone SDK in simple terms runs on a Mac.
