I'm joining the club as well. Haven't been able to receive texts since about 9:30 this morning & haven't been able to send any out since then as well. Can still receive phone calls & get on the internet. Just called VM Customer Service & heard the pre-recorded message as well. What a huge pain in the butt this is.

I'm having the same problem since last night I’m glad I’m not the only one at least, but I don't think this is a good sign for me to keep the phone if the txt is going to be out like this >:-|. This better not be an everyday thing with them. I still have 26 more days to send this back. I better get my money back.

I just got off the phone with a live adviser about 10 minutes ago. And he said that they are aware of the issue and it should be resolved within the next 6 hours.



I've been having this issue since about 9:00AM EST yesterday!

I'm on the phone with a live adviser at this moment and he's saying that the problem has been fixed. but i'm still not receiving messages or unable to send them so i don't know what's going on .

yup same problem here 2 web browsing seems to be working but for 2 days almost no text glad im not the only one ill refrain from chucking the phone at the wall for now...

They had some kind of outage. The server is down. I have the same problem. D:

Someone said that this will be fixed in 24 hours. I hope it's sooner. xD

my friends and I are having the exact same problem and it sucks cause I just got the phone two days ago and I haven't had for a week yet :( Why couldn't the server have waited to break down....*insert sigh here*

Just go to the Virgin Mobile USA Facebook page and you'll see what a clusterf*ck this whole thing has turned into. Everyone's upset, texting has been down for some people for48+ hours, I personally haven't received one since yesterday morning, and customer service is extremely unhelpful. Trust me, you're not alone. Some are saying it's cause by the stupid hurricane on the east coast, and others say that it was a VM update gone wrong.

i havent been able to text for 48 hours, i hope they give us like some free stuff for this cuz were paying their sucky *** company for something that dont work. Virgin mobile sucks.

i bought my fone 2 days ago n it was working fine ................ n now i cant send or recieve messages.. i did recieve a message but like 6 hrs later
