I had misplaced my phone a few weeks ago. I checked my account usage to monitor whether or not anyone had used the phone since it went missing. Fortunately no one did. I got the same exact phone from a friend since they had 1 to spare and all I'll need is the sim card. I'm on a T-MOBILE family plan under my fathers account. If I go to the T-MOBILE store can I get a new sim card with the same plan and number if I explain my situation? Will it cost anything?

My father knows about the missing phone.

it may cost, but it may not, your best bet is to contact tmobile, im sure they will have no problem getting you a sim and getting it to connect to the origional number

T-Mobile will work with you. They will sell you a sim card and won't make you change plans or numbers. If you go to their website normally you can do a live chat with a customer service rep and they can answer all of your questions!
