Question:
Viewing Microsoft office documents with Android phone?

I have a Samsung galaxy s2 and I use a student system like blackboard, ulink and moodle to view the lectures (which are in the form of powerpoint through an online link my lecturer has put up) before going to the lecture.

Apple iPhone opens the documents automatically...but this, never loss.

Do I have to download yet another app??

no... Android opens MS documents and even edits them by default.. there is a bloatware app that does it... most of the time, its Quick Office

the Paid apps on PlayStore (formally Market) And Amazon Appstore are the fancy smacy "i want it to look exactly and act like ALLLLLL Windows Office programs" kind of apps..

but if you GS2 doesnt open or edit a simple Powerpoint, then your phone has issues...

QuickOffice free will read MS Office files.

If you pay for the full version you can edit the files.
