I live in America and the S2 is not available over here. My contract with T-Mobile is over next September but I can upgrade this October for full discount. I've been looking at the international version of the S2 for a while now and I would love it if T-Mobile comes out with the exact same model. However, I heard about the Hercules coming out as the S2 and the leaked photos of the phone is quite ugly looking. So my question is where can I buy the unlocked international version of the S2 for cheap that I can just slide my T-mobile sim card in and use it?
Thanks in advance!

You can buy the Samsung Galaxy S II unlocked cell phone for cheap price on Amazon, the most trusted U.S. store online. I found some of them here

Samsung Galaxy S2 Unlocked Smartphone & Accessories, Case, Screen Protector, etc.

I am also with t-mobile and I purchased the unlocked version of the Galaxy S2 from Amazon. I returned it the next day. What I found out is that you can only get edge with t-mobile (AT&T can get 3g but not t-mobile). This means that the hotspot and face time do not work. I am patiently waiting to see if t-mobile gets the Galaxy S2. Two of my children have the GX2 and the HTC sensation and they both like them but the battery isn't what it should be.

most 4g phones from different cell providers use differnt 4g technology

the drawback with is, is a 4g phone from one provider isn't going to work 100% with another company

the other drawback is that without buying a new contract, the companies charge LARGE amounts for phones, a new S2 likely will be $600+
