Ok, Im alittle confused. My friend lives in the UK but at the moment shes in Egypt, I know when you dial a mobile phone you use the same area code, or at least I thought you did. However do I use the same country code? I'm dialing at the moment

011-44-776-xxx-xxx

Not sure if I should dial that or..

011-20-776-xxx-xxx

or even change the area code.

I tried both ways...she is a flake...and might have left her phone at home buuut, might be good to know if I'm dialing it right at all.

If she is taking her same mobile, dial normally as if she is not in Egypt. Forget about where she is and dial normally. The whole idea about roaming is so.

So you should not need the code of Egypt for anything.

Just dial: 011-44-776-xxx-xxx

Yes, you do need the Area code and the country code if calling Australia.

many cell phones don't work when you leave the country, or the continent.
