I NEED MY PHONE IT HAS IMPORTANT INFO IN IT BUT I WASHED IT!?

Hi my name is Jasmine and i have the Verizon LG ENV2 it is marroon. I forgot to take it out of my pocket when i put it in my dirty clothes basket and my mom washed it! The buttons on the keypad light up and it has sound put the screen doesn't work it is just black i have important info in it and i need it!!!!!! I have tried to put it in rice but it doesn't work. What should i do. Please help me i need help

The phone is probably toast, but the SIM card might be OK. Take the SIM card out and put it in another phone to see if it's OK.

Disassemble the phone as much as you can and ley it outside in the sunlight to dry out. It may take a few days to work as it did befor, and you will not be able to claim insurance on it now either.

If it's very important I'm sure there are special services to help recover data from phones
