i have just bought a tomtom and new to all of this sat nav. i am trying to connect my mobile with the tomtom but am a bit clueless on how it works. i believe it is communicating with the mobile both through bluetooth and wireless data. do my network providers charge me for using this facility?

its really good you can talk and make call on the tom tom but it charges for making the call normallly as in you normal bill and its leagal because you not holding the phone

No, bluetooth is a wireless connection and is free. When connected to your phone you can do all different things: e.g take calls through your sat nav, and view your contacts on the screen. If you have any probs go to the tom tom site, which will tell you in easy steps how to do everything.

P.S. You can even have celebrity voices giving you directions!

No bluetooth works great u will get the gist of it beats getting fined speeding or using mobile.... Have fun your tomtom has a web site check it out FAQS ....

Bluetooth is just a form of connecting two devices, therefore there will be no charge for using this connection.

No, bluetooh is a free wireless "network" - it work similar to infra-red but is much more advanced & better quality.
