Do you think cell providers may one day provide unlimited data again?

I started to upgrade my phone today only to find out that if I did I was going to loose my unlimited data through Verizon. I did the math and the phone I want (Note II) on their cheap plan ($30 per month for 2gb) would end up costing me over $1000 bucks. Obviously I'm going to just buy the phone and keep my unlimited data. I'm just curious if anyone thinks cell providers will eventually have unlimited data again or at least up the cap. I don't know how anyone these days uses a smart phone on less than 5 to 8 gb. I'll use that monthly just watching videos, using internet and downloading updates.

Many cell providers like T- mobile and Sprint already have unlimited data. The only reason Verizon is able to get away with not providing it is because their network is actually really good. If other companies catch up and get better or equal covarage to that of verizon, people will switch and verizon will be forced to provide unlimited data.

i don't purely like the term "endless bandwidth". each and every little thing has a shrink. Bluehost, Startlogic, etc provide a great volume of bandwidth. My web sites have under no circumstances used extra desirable than 20% of the bandwidth provided by skill of my Bluehost kit.
