my parents are buying me a phone me birthday but I will have to pay the monthly bill and I am still a teenager so I can't afford a big bill. I heard about cheap ones at wal-mart? If anybody has any advice that would be great! Thanks!!

I use the cheap ones from Wal-Mart if you're talking about Straight Talk. Voice and texting are great. 45 a month for unlimited or 30 a month for 1k each. I never have less than four bars and sometimes I have six bars. It uses the version network so its very stable. If you want a phone just for calls and texts, this is a great plan. It offers web too but I'm not a fan of their web, java is disabled on their phones making most websites unusable.



If you want to use the net a lot on your cell, boost mobile has an unlimited plan for 50 a month, and their phones allow for the use of java. So its five bucks more for better net.



I personally don't like to use my cell for the net so I use the $45 Straight talk plan.
