From my own personal experience...I preferred Verizon. They provided much better service and it seemed like their calling areas were much more abundant than what Cingular has.

i don't care what their BS these companies give you. it all depends on your location and how much money the Co. spends on cell sites. in nyc verizon has very good service (recently) but go to california and service there is really bad. i have nextel and i live right under a nextel /sprint cell site in nyc and service is terrible. used to be extremely good thou. during recent events in nyc... only nextel had service. noe tehir service is terrible. i hope you tell us its a co. here in nyc...
