Here is my question, I finally decided to just buy my wife a cell phone and turn mine off, my cell phone has been off for about 3 months now. Our phones are the same model so I have picked mine up by mistake and left the house etc. just to get the no money on your account recording from Boost. Well 2 days ago me and the wife had a little bit of a disagreement and I proceeded to pitch her cell phone into a wall, well it messed up the screen so I felt bad later and swapped the sim card from my old deactivated cell phone into the broken phone(hers) and placed her sim card into my cell phone. This worked and she now has a working phone again with all the sim info and her contacts etc. So today I went to throw the other phone away and was going to just keep the battery for an extra, I for some reason thought maybe the phone could still dial 911 and I should keep it in our car in case of an emergency, well I needed to make sure it was going to at least still dial, well I dialed time and temperature to hear once again that same old "not enough money in your account" recording, to my astonishment the call went through just fine, so I called another number, no problem it went through also, even the 2 way chirp works, so I pull up my account on Boost Mobile's site and see that my account is active with 0 funds in it, nobody paid for this and auto reboost is not active, no funds have been removed from my bank account etc. How in the name of god did this happen? Was this a result of breaking the phone? If so I plan on buying them in bulk and smashing them all into the walls, free service and a nice release for stress I am guessing. Could anybody please explain this to me? Also my account says the next payment is due on the 2nd of March, well I threw the phone on yesterday which was the 2nd of January. Do I need to smash it off the wall on the 2nd of every month? Seriously would love any information on how this happened as this is no joke at all, thanks to all who respond. Thanks
