I just had to do this. The manufacturer gave me these instructions:

A) HAVE OLD PHONE PUT TOGETHER REGULARLY AND GO TO THE PHONE BOOK OPTION (****MUST BE PHONEBOOK OPTION FROM MENU, IF YOU JUST SCROLL DOWN TO GET TO THE PHONE BOOK, IT WONT WORK)

B) while in "phone book" select the "manage sim" option

C) while in "manage sim" select the "copy TO sim" option

*******WAIT FOR NUMBERS TO COPY, TAKES A MINUTE***

D) TURN OFF THE PHONE BEFORE REMOVING BATTERY AND SIM CARD

E) PLUG IN SIM CARD TO NEW PHONE.......

F) FOLLOW STEPS A & B AGAIN.......

G) THIS TIME SELECT THE "COPY "FROM" SIM" OPTION

ALL DONE, ENJOY! MAN I HAD TO HUNT THIS INFO DOWN, GLAD I COULD HELP........

you can check the feature of your current old phone, to see whether it has the "copy number from phone to sim card" function, i think most of the Nokia phone has this function, because lastime i used this function before, and it it effective!

Firstly, copy the phone number from phone to simcard, then move the card to the new phone , then copy back from sim card to phone( if your sim card is unable to copy all at one time, you have to do this step several times). Repeat this until you finish copy.

If your handphone doesn't have this "copy" function, then you have to ask your telephone service provider or handphone shop to help you copy it, but please make sure the confidential information is well kept.

Another alternative way is to consult with your mobile phone manufacturer, they know whether it has the function or not.

There are phones which could do it all at once but there are also phones which you have to do it individually. It depends on your cellphone.
