They are both great phones, however they are geared towards somewhat more different users. If you are a person that just wants to catch onto the latest trend and wants a simple smartphone, that's the iphone for you. However, HTC phones run Android and Windows Mobile Phone 7. They are geared towards more business like people who want more information and usefulness. While the Iphone may be trendy, the HTC Android and Windows phones are more useful. The HTC phones also have MicroSD card slots, and some have an available 4G data plan, such as the HTC Thunderbolt and the HTC Evo 4G. 4G is a type of communications that is up to 10 times faster than 3G, the connections most smartphones use. Android phones also have more freedom than IPhones to do customization. All in all, I would recommend the HTC phones over the IPhone 4.

What do you mean with HTC? HTC Wildfire is weaker than iPhone. HTC Desire HD, for an example, owns iPhone 4 in every way.

You see the thing is the operating system. Android OS is the best mobile OS out there, though apple fanboys will always scream otherwise. It's far more customizable, supports Flash, has proper multi-tasking, supports microSD cards, widgets & scrollable screens and so on.

Of course apple fanboys are all like "apps dude, we got soooo many apps" Which doesn't matter one bit. Android is open source which means there are many more free cool apps. And seriously name an iPhone app I bet I can find it on Android Market, or at least an equivalent.

Since you haven't defined which HTC phone you are comparing to it's harder to say, but HTC Desire / Desire HD / EVO 4G will easily outperform iPhone 4 in every way. As well as Samsung Galaxy S, which also runs on Android.

If you want a real smartphone that won't leave you penniless (they're still quite expensive) go for one of the phones I mentioned above.

I say decide for the iphone! I certainly have the Spring HTC Evo, and that i hate it! the telephone freezes continuously, and the telephone gets very heat whilst charging for a short volume of time. i elect to recommend you get your self an iphone 4 or wait till this summer season and get the iphone 5. Video chat on my evo does not even artwork! all the courses available the two elect you to pay or is somewhat distorted in high quality. additionally, in case you get a 4G now, will you fairly have the skill to apply it on your section? I certainly have a 4G telephone, and wager what? i will't even use the 4G selection yet, purely 3G. oftentimes, i'm asserting that Apple is barely knocked down by way of human beings who can not have the money for it is products. this is all.

Well I dont have an HTC but I do have an iPhone so imma say... HTC
