How to downIoad music for free onto my -phone 4?

Hello, I finally purchased an i-phone ( 4) but not happy with the fact I now have to pay for music downloads vs the free apps. However, from what I have heard there is away to still download music onto say your laptop and then transfer to your phone. Please anyone help me. I just dont understand all this extra downloading and i-tunes . Frustrated! Thanks.

I've tried out many music downloading sites, both free and paid. I found that with free music downloads sometimes I would get a virus which was very annoying. I now use Iomoio - you have to pay 16¢ a song but its worth it! They have all the latest chart artists and over three million songs. U need to have itunes on your computer then open it and create a play list. Then drag the songs in it which u want and attach your iphone to the pc and your iphone name will show up on itunes on the left side. Click on it then in the middle part there will lots of options like photos,video or music. Click on music and then click on sync (on the bottome of the screen).

That's it.

Also u can download a free app like music downloader from app store and easily download music from there.

Why don't you try downloading from internet.. There are plenty of free sites i think.
