Question:
I lost my weather app on my Samsung Galaxy S4 homescreen?

So normally I have the weather app on my homescreen, and I just looked this morning and it was gone. I tried trying to put it back on the homescreen but I kept getting a message that said it was already installed on the homescreen, even though I clearly could not see it. I tried restarting my phone, but it still wasn't there. Then I tried putting other apps in the place were it normally was, and that worked fine. But when I tried reinstalling the weather app, and even when I tried putting it in a different screen, I still kept getting the same error message.

Help??? Please??? I googled it, and apparently this is a common problem. But everyone seems to be able to resolve it eventually, but they're not posting how they finally fixed it.

If you mean the widget that shows the time, date, and temperature, then just find a blank space on your home screen and press down until you get icon options called "Wallpapers", "Widgets", and "Home screen settings". Choose "Widgets" and scroll through the options until you find the "Weather" widget, drag that widget to your home screen, given that you have enough space on your home screen for the large widget.

This is the widget that allows you to add several cities so that you can easily access the time and weather of cities around the world.

Other than backing up the phone and then doing a factory reset i'm not sure what else could be done for such a problem.

Did you uninstall the app and then reinstall.
