My Nokia is web-enabled. How do I get WiFi access eg airport? Is it free if I download software? I have WLAN. Is hotspot access cheaper than me directly going on the web with my phone? Can I use my domestic WiFi system that my laptop currently uses? Thanks.

WLAN is WiFi. Yes you can use domestic WiFi system in your nokia just like using your laptop. Contact your service provider about data connection tariff. If your service provider tariff for data connection is expensive, WiFi will be the best choice to access internet from phone. If your nokia has WLAN, you don't have to download any additional software for using it. You can click on the WLAN menu, select the network, after that you can connect to internet using WiFi.

The only way you can get wi-fi internet access on a wireless phone is if it has a built in wi-fi modem which very few phones have at this time. If you do have a model that does have wi-fi then yes you can access at wi-fi hotspots but cost depends on location and your service provider might still charge you depending on the agreement you have.

T-Mobile will automatically impose the data plan. If you're not on Prepaid, there's no way you can run from data plan using a smartphone.
