Or does anybody know a way I could cancel my account early, without having to pay a fee? I'm effing sick of T mobile. I pay 90 dollars a month, just for me. And all I do is text. It's their stupid arss data service that costs so much darn money. I can't do it anymore. It pisses me off.
What'll happen if I don't pay?

Hello, (ANS) Mobile phone theft is a very very common crime, so I would imagine that the more evidence or real proof you can provide the phone company. That this bill wasn't genuinely run up by yourself the stronger your case will be should the phone (telco) company decide to take you to court or perhaps pass the debit to a debit recovery company. **If you informed the phone company immediately that your phone had been stolen. Or if you informed them as soon as you discovered the theft. Then this would definitely be points in your favour, however if you failed to do this then your case begins to look much weaker. **Did you contact the police immediately when the phone was stolen? Again this is important. **If the phone was reported stolen to both the police & phone company you have a stronger position than if you didn't. **Phones that are reported stolen generally have a stop put on them ASAP, or are blacklisted and have the connected blocked. So the sim-card or phone number cannot be used further, hence preventing further debit or abusive use. **With good eveidence or proof the debit MAY? be written off but if you dont have any proof then the debit could be passed to a debit recovery company. **This has the potential to affect your credit rating & credit history too. if you dont pay your phone bill on the due date, you will have an additional 20 days to be able to use it. once it gets suspended and you dont pay for a certain amount of time, they will automatically cancel and they will charge the cancellation fee ($200 first 18 months, $100 when there's 6 months left or $50 when you have 3 months left) on your bill. Unfortunately, it will hurt your credit score because it will be sent to collections agency with your social security number on the account if you dont pay it. the ONLY way to get out of paying the cancellation fee is if you move out of the country (must have proof such as id from that country, utility bill in your name from that country, etc.), are in the military and you're being deployed or if you move to an address where you have no coverage in your home at all! (they will check and verify that it is true via coverage map). but yup, thats wut will happen.

After your service is turned off, they will eventually send you to a collection agency, and the debt will go on your credit report. The amount of the debt will also keep growing. They will keep charging you for the full length of your contract.
I'd suggest calling T-Mobile and asking them for suggestions on how to lower your monthly bill. I did, and I eventually got it down by over $50/month. If it doesn't work by calling in, try going in to a store.
If none of that works, call customer care and ask to speak to the retention department to cancel your account. Those folks have more leeway in terms of negotiating a lower monthly fee for you.
Good luck!

There's no way to avoid the early termination fee. You signed the contract and you are legally bound.
T-Mobile will report your account as unpaid every single month. They will wreck your credit score. Your account will incur late fees and interest each month. Eventually, they'll sue you and win. The judgment will go on your credit record. It will allow T-Mobile to garnish your wages, seize your bank accounts and lien your property.
The early termination fee is about $200. That's not a lot to pay to avoid the consequences of not paying.

If you don't pay your T-Mobile bill, you won't be allowd to communicate with other people. When I say communicate, I mean, no texting OR calling.
