I got an app for mms but it only supports photos. Is there an app for sending a ringtone? Could you accomplish this through itunes when your iphone is hooked up to it? I want to attach a ringtone to a text message and send it.
All I want to do is send a ringtone to a friend. I could do it easily with my old samsung A737.
Please help!

There is no way to text a ringtone via the iPhone.
The best bet would be to email it from your PC. To find where the ringtone is saved open iTunes and on the left hand menu bar click on 'Ringtones'. A list of your ringtones will show.
On the ringtone you want to email simply right click on it and then select 'Get Info'. A pop-up will appear showing the location of the ringtone on your computer. This is shown at the bottom of the pop-up after the word 'Where'.
You can now create an email and attach the ringtone which you now know the location of.
Rintones on the iPhone are saved in the .m4r format and may not be able to be used on other phones.

Yes you cannot by message ( which is lame ) but if you jailbreak your iphone and install unlimited Tones by cydia you can download any ringtone/sms time u want for free and what's best is it saves Into your phones sounds. Anyway once u install go to manage tones select the tone u want to send at the bottom select the square box and u can send it by email no need to be using iTunes or anything. Hope helps.

Questions contribute nothing to a conversation and tell her nothing about you. Too many questions makes it feel like a job interview. Learn here https://tr.im/R89ww
Never ask two questions in a row. Statements can often replace questions. Instead of asking where’s she’s from, tell her where you’re from and she may respond in kind. Or guess where she’s from. It doesn’t matter if you are right; either way it’s more interesting than yet another factual question.
