My iphone touch screen has been acting weird for a little while now. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It usually gives me an issue in colder temperatures, it works better in warmer temps. Maybe like a month or so ago it started giving me issues with the service. I don't have a car right now and i work a lot so I haven't really been able to get to the apple store. The phone is also pretty bent. I know other people who's IPhone 6 is also pretty bent but it works fine. I have tried resetting it, I have cleaned the sim card and tray, I have looked for water damage but i don't think there is any but (I am not sure what I am looking for exactly in the SIM port), I have called apple support and they have ran diagnostics on it multiple times and everything shows up fine. My SIM card seems to be in fine shape. I don't know if I should purchase a new SIM card, for if that would be wasting my money. What could be wrong with it? Everything else works fine. It is not cracked. I can use it on Wifi. PLEASE HELP

May be the problem with the software I guess. try a fresh reinstall of iOS or try the beta version of iOS 11.

I would go to the apple store. Make time for it, because if your phone isn't getting service then its a serious problem.

Depending on what carrier you have, you may be able to get them to just give you a new sim card if you say that apple has said that the sim card is damaged.
