Sometimes text messages have to be sent separately, is it because of the length or size (when emoticons are used)?

it depends on your phone, but most of them allow a txt to be 160 charactars (numbers symbols AND letters). Once it exceeds 160, yes you will have to send another message and yes, it will count as a separate message.

Most computers work in multples of 255 as it takes 1 byte (8 bits) to record the length of the text. One String (line of characters) is usually 256 characters long and the first byte of the 256 records the length (0..255).

Therefore text messages like to send in sets of 255.

Also 8, 16, 32, 64 and 128 are often used for the same sort of techincal reason.

i'm uncertain if it is the style of element you're after for a text cloth message for April Fools yet i'll tutor it to you in basic terms for relaxing. R U A 6 U L D V 8 ? that's a robust one to get a sparkling Zealander to assert it out aloud. via fact of there accessory they pronounce the huge style Six as "Sux or intercourse" in basic terms say each and every letter and huge style out loud to appreciate what it reads. Gosh! i wish i've got not indignant you. "Sorry if I even have" that is all meant to be in relaxing. If I even have i'll get rid of my answer.

I think its length. Emoticons take up more then one character, so that makes less text space available.
