When connecting to the internet using my cellular data, do I have a specific IP address or does it change each time I connect? If it helps, my cell service is with ATandT.

The cellular network will have to allocate an IP address when you use the Internet. There is no guarantee that you will always get the same address. Other phones may be sharing the IP address with you in a manner similar to multiple computers on a home network sharing a single public IP address. The networks have to provide address sharing as there are insufficient version 4 IP addresses available for every smart phone to have its own address.

If a phone goes offline (switched off or out of cell coverage), then it may be allocated a different address on the public Internet when it comes on to the network again.

Yes, any device connected to the internet has a IP address. If you are looking for privacy, I would use a VPN.

Your phone gets a new IP as required.

It will be a dynamic address that will be different each time. Your provider will have a log of which phone had which address and when.

You'll get new IP address whenever you disconnect and reconnect your cellular data.
