Are you using the proper login for WinSCP?

1) Go to Settings

2) Go to Wi-Fi

3) Go to "Network Name" (Click blue arrow)

4) Copy the IP Address into the blank on WinSCP called "Host Name"

5) For "Username", put in "root"

6) For "Password", put in "alpine"

These are the default logins for iPhone/iPod Touch

It might not connect on the first try just try again.

I have an iPhone 3Gs running iOS 4.0.1 and it doesn't seem to connect with winscp so I use Iphonebrowser instead. Iphonebrowser doesn't have as much functions as winscp but it gets the job done if all you want to do is transfer files. Here's the link for iphonebrowser if you want to test it out:

http://code.google.com/p/iphonebrowser/downloads/detail?name=SetupiPhoneBrowser.1.93.exe&can=2&q=

P.S. if the files doesn't show in Iphonebrowser then you need to install afc2add in your iphone in cydia

Hope this helps :)

Make sure the IP address is correct, Username: root Password:alpine.
