How Can I view old text messages?

i have a phone for at&t and i was wondering if its possible to view the CONTENT of my old text messages from previous months. I searched my account online and it only showed when and to whom i sent messages; it did not show what the messages said. How can i view what these messages said? (if possible) 10 points to whoever can help me! thanks

I think AT&T does keep the text messages and it's contents.



Just call them up and ask for the bill that you need.

You CANNOT view the contents of text messages anywhere and AT&T CANNOT provide them either. All you will get is the date/time they sent/received and the number they were sent to/from.

Well, I had to do this a few weeks ago and Im on AT&T and got my bill from 3 months ago. So, just ask them for the super old bill, they keep it in the archives.
