I have the original blackjack, The phone is having issues so I have decided on getting a new phone. I like the way the moto q looks better than the blackjack 2. I can't decide between the two.
Also, my blackjack can record its own ringtones. This is a must.
I use AT&T

i think that the blackjack 2 is a more stylish looking phone. i also think that it is a lot easier to navigate than the moto q. the blackjack 2 has had a few issues with losing service. but i'm sure that will (if it hasn't already) been fixed. if you're looking to use your phone for more personal use than business use, then i say go with the blackjack 2.
there are many similarities between the two phones. both have 2MP cameras. both have GPS which means you can get Telenav on your phone (but the moto q only gets maps where as the blackjack 2 will give you turn by turn directions). both run off of windows mobile 6. both have microsoft push email which will get your real time delivery of your email.
the moto q is a behemoth of a phone. it's huge. it doesn't have any scrolling mechanism besides the 4way navigation button (which is a huge pain) the keyboard is nice and big. the reason i say to go with it for business use is because it supports blackberry connect. (if you don't know why this would be useful/awesome then go with the blackjack 2) instead of using internet explorer as the browser it uses opera (may not be a big deal to some, but others love it) the battery life is AMAZING! 9 hours talk time? get out! this really is meant to be a beast of a phone, and it's meant to work with the business person that is always on the go, or at least that's the way i see the phone. (it also has a flash on the camera and the blackjack 2 does not)
hope this helps!

I would say get the Blackjack 2. The reason is the Moto Q is huge and lacks some features of the Blackjack 2. I have had both (believe it or not) and I really like the Blackjack 2 for everyday use. The internet browser is better, the call quality, the screen is crisper, and the interface is a little more fun. Even though the Q to you looks cooler, the Blackjack 2 overall will make you VERY happy like it did to me.
Hope I helped!

I owned a BJ2 and that i hated it. The homestead windows cellular 6 is slow, digicam is low high quality, there no 3.5mm headset, and the keyboard is slippery and not common to form on, and that i've got small arms! The Motorola Q is in a similar boat. in actuality, i might decide on the Blackberry curve or pearl; they have a three.5mm headset, and run on their very very own OS, so that is no longer slow, and the two telephones have good digicam's and the curve even has a flash.
