First off, yes Bluetooth is free.

Bluetooth is a technology that allows you to send information short distances. It could be pics, voice, txt ect. You will need either a Bluetooth capable computer or a Bluetooth adaptor for your comp. Also for Nokia phones the Nokia PC Suite (http://www.nokiausa.com/A4410506) will help manage the transfer of music and other data. Pairing the devices to one another is pretty simple. On the phone its usually Settings>Connectivity>Bluetooth>On>Visible to other devices>Yes>Name>Whatever you choose. The Adaptor or computer settings depend on the brand.

Also, Tatjana, you can buy a Bluetooth "Dongle" that is supposed to plug into the usb port and can then "connect" your pc to your phone wirelessly; you then use your software to transfer files. I saw them on Amazon for less than $5.00, and on other sites for not much more. It would probably be worth it, as it sounds like your pc is not Bluetooth enabled itself; therefore the need for a bluetooth device for the pc, and they have to "recognize" each other-the phone and pc.

But, if you have a card reader, as I do in my laptop, you can take your micro card out of the phone, put it in the card reader, and then have it come up as an external drive, and just use Windows Explorer and drag and drop files; just make sure you drag actual .wav or.mp3 files directly into the folders on the card, rather than the folders the mp3 files are in.

I've done all this on my Motorola W755 and it worked fine.

the point of blue tooth is that you don't need the usb cable :)

it's free, it's like a wireless connection between your computer and your phone.

your phone should have come with ... maybe a cd? and some instructions for putting files on your cell phone.

once you get it working, it's great because you can easily transfer all the pictures you took on your phone to your computer without plugging it in
