I'm having trouble sending my friend in Australia a text message. I'm able to text my friend in New Zealand and other countries with no problem at all. I've used the 011+61+4 to call, but it says I need eight numbers next while the number she gives me is ten numbers. What do i do?
Additional info: I use US Cellular and she uses Virgin.

Her number is 10 numbers. As you said, you put 011+61+4
The 1 and the 4 count as the 04 in the number.
so you would punch in 011+61+455555555 for example.
hope this helped.

One qualifier to Barry's put up, drop the 0 of the section code or cellular telephone volume. the section code for NSW at the same time with Sydney is 02 then there'll be an 8 digit volume. to call from the u . s . a . ring 011-sixty one-2-XXXXXXXX the position the XXXetc represents the quantity. if you're calling a cellular telephone they have the format 04XX XXXXXX. Drop the 0 and make contact with 011-sixty one-4XX XXXXXX.
