Im currently on O2 but really really want a Sidekick. I know its only available on T Mobile but I would like to keep my contract. I heard that you can get it unlocked but then half the features of the phone dont work. Does anybody know if thats true? And if it would work?

Thanks

It would have to be unlocked first. Good luck with unlocking it, though. Sidekicks are VERY hard to unlock. T-Mobile can't even get an unlock code for Sidekicks. Even if you were to manage to unlock a Sidekick, you wouldn't be able to use ANY of the data features when using it with a provider other than T-Mobile. Sidekicks require special data servers from Danger, Inc., which can only be accessed through T-Mobile's network. These settings cannot be changed.

Sidekicks are a telephone this is synthetic by HTC (these days nicely time-honored for the touch Diamond....). They made a sequence of telephones for the united kingdom networks. each and every of the telephones have been the comparable, yet had diverse names, eg. Orange SPV, T-cellular Sidekick, O2 XDA and Vodafone I-Mate. they are each and every of the comparable telephone - merely diverse badges.

forget Sidekick

It wont work because you cant unlock it easily, even if you managed to unlock it, you will still be unable to use all its features.

If you want Sidekick go for TMobile then....

Sidekick looks good, it is not that.....
