Messaging on the Nokia Asha 300?

I have had my Nokia 6301 for four years now and feel like it is time for a new phone.
I love using a Nokia and have no interest in an iPhone or anything similar. However, I do like the way that the iPhone and other newer phones display their text messages: in a threaded format where you can view the whole conversation. This is unlike the current format on my phone, where all messages are listed in the inbox and you have to read everything separately, ditto the sent box.
The Nokia Asha 300 looks like a phone that might slowly integrate me in to the world of touch screens, but I really want to know if the 'conversation view' (available on some newer Nokia models) is available on the Asha 300.
I have looked online, but I was unable to find an answer, so I came here.

In summary: does the Nokia Asha 300 have 'conversation view' for viewing and replying to SMS messages?

Yes it does, in messaging press options, the two options are inbox view, or conversation view.



There is a minor bug where after 100's of sms, the conversation threads can get confused and it displays a sms in the wrong conversation.



A quick reboot (off/on) and they're all back where they should be.



If you reboot perhaps weekly, it'll probably never occur.



Wife has one, really likes it as a normal phone with smartish touch screen.
