Hi,

I'm a Vietnamese student coming to USA to study. I bring with me a NOKIA 2630 cell phone from Vietnam. But I don't know how to buy a SIM card in America and how to use it.

I found this SIM activation kit on T-Mobile website:
http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/Phones/Detail.aspx?class=prepaid&device=53299206-c069-429a-82fa-000007a2ac12

Can you tell me what an "SIM card activation kit" is? How to use it? After slipping this SIM card into my cell phone, how can I register for T-Mobile's one plan or another plan that I like? I don't see any information about prepaid services on the web page above.

And what about this SIM card? I don't understand what they say?
http://www.myworldphone.com/itemdesc.asp?ic=SIM%2DPREP%2DTM100

And here is another SIM card for sale:
http://www.internationalstudent.com/sim_cards/

Take a look at it. There are two options: Pay as you go and Pay by the day. But they don't let me choose the option when purchasing? So how to choose one option? How do I know which option I will use with the SIM card if I buy it?

Thanks. I'm very new to the US, and I'm really worried now. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry but each phone is locked to uses specifically with their own sim card. You will not find any other cell phone company that will work with a boost mobile sim card. Unless the cell phone is unlocked and uses GSM network then perhaps your boost mobile sim card will work.

buy any sim card and get your phone unlocked so you can use it on any network
