WHAT'S WINDOWS MOBILE ?

i'm getting a new phone and it doesn't have windows mobile.
but what's windows mobile?
is it internet?
i'm confused.

Windows mobile is an operating system for mobile/handheld devices, and it is made by a company which is known as Microsoft Windows, who owns, a lot of OSes for PC, like Windows XP, Windows Vista, etc.



And it is the most preferrably PC like mobile operating system..

Its like Windows Vista but for a mobile phone; its the phone's operating system basically. It has less software and usually comes with touchscreeen phones. It does usually include Microsoft Word and Powerpoint etc.

Windows Mobile is operating system that is used in smart phones, like you got on computers windows XP/Vista or Linux or mac for your computer to run you got similar stuff on your phone to work with other applications e.g. adobe acrobat , internet browser , games. Every phone has operating system most of nokias got Palm OS there is no phone without operating system these days. It is not internet but it does have internet browser in it (so yeh you can go on internet if that's what you need)
