Question:
Has anyone else had a problem with Verizon Wireless not honoring Early Contract Cancellation?

I received an Unbeatable deal from ***** and so I terminated my contract with Verizon. However, more than 2 months later, they STILL aren't honoring it, and are trying to get FULLY payed for the Entire contract time.

We had about 3? months left when we canceled it, and were fully prepared to pay the $280.00 to break away from this insanity.

My other query is, is there a Cellular Regulatory Commission I can go to to try to get this resolved.

Repeatedly I've gone in to VZW stores, and called, and each time they seem have "accidentally" not logged it in that I went in, or called. Two times now, I've had employees Swear they would call me to resolve this issue, and Surprise Surprise, NO ONE calls back.

my boyfriend just recently cancelled with VERIZON to move on to another carrier. He did have to pay the fee because his contract didnt end until october. But he didn't have any problems cancelling it. They were however charging him many times for "downloads" he had done on his phone (which he never did). But, he never got his money back on those. So, he just decided to move from carrier to keep avoiding these extra charges. I'm sorry you had to deal with all of that. I guess they were mad you wanted to change carriers?

Nope. I have VZW..and no problems. It seems that they are upset that you went to another carrier, and they are racking up false charges to get you to pay them. They will put up a fight, when you explain to them that the charges are false. They didn't want you to cancel your account to go to said carrier..and this is how they punish you, false charges, giving you a hard time, not calling you back, ect. I will be watching out for these problems, when I switch.

VZW has done most of the above to me. No return calls, lies, different closing costs, can't find my notes, placed on hold......aarrgghhh
