I'm giving my little sister my iphone 3G soon, and getting myself an iphone 4. I really want to keep all my text messages, etc, though... I also heard that the messages are saved to the phone. :l

You can use this iPhone SMS Contacts to computer transfer program to help. It can help you backup both sms and contacts from iPhone to computer easily.
Best thing would just be to try and forward them to a friend, and have them send it to you. Or ask the people your buying the phone from if there is a way to transfer the files.

Backup your 3G to your itunes on your computer, save it as something unique that you'll remember. Then once you get your iphone 4, click restore then select that uniquely named save to restore it from.

If there's a software which could have a strong compatibility between 2 diverse cell phones, you could truly deliver the textual content messages from one telephone to the different one. for instance, if there's a sim card or memory card which will nicely be positioned into each and every telephone effectively, then you could deliver the textual content messages from one cellular telephone to the sim card or memory card, then use yet another new cellular telephone to get the textual content messages from the sim card or memory card, is it properly? for sure, you would possibly want to employ pc or internet to make it. that is to say, you could deliver textual content messages on your pc or interent (for instance, internet e mail) fristly, then use yet another new cellular telephone to settle for textual content messages out of your pc or internet, properly?
