I was a long time iphone user who switched yesterday to the samsung galaxy s4. Love it, but there are so many preloaded apps on it I don't know which one is the main one for music. What is the droid equivalent to itunes? I want to be able to play my music from my phone.

Also, a few things:
-I don't want to transfer my entire music library, just some selected playlists. I have too much music for that.
-I hardly bought any of my music from itunes, I use a youtube downloader. It's just all conveniently on my itunes.
That being the case, what can I use to listen to the selected itunes playlists I currently have while still using the DVD video soft youtube to mp3 downloader? Can I do it directly to my phone?

Thank you!

It's kinda easy on Android... you just have to connect your phone to the PC via USB and "drag and drop" the songs you want in the music folder in the SD card / Internal memory..

If there isn't one already just create one ... and add all the music files you listen to in that folder....

the music player will automatically recognize the files as songs...

More importantly though, is there an Android app that will catalogue like iTunes or even sync to iTunes and allow the user to utilise the iTunes platform. If there is such an App, I will be throwing my iPhone down the bog and buying an Android tomorrow.

go to an convenient store or mall and buy a prepaid card and load it for the amount you plan to spend on apps , then use it on the android apps store.

I was searching for same thing. Not just music, but for other things like installing apps etc.

Found "moborobo" windows freeware. Works great.

You can try "airdroid" app in google playstore.
