Free Legal Advice - that's really stupid unless you're married. A contract is going to make the signer legally liable for the entire bill for 2 years even if you break up, even if one of you calls the moon and stays on the phone for 5 hours. Don't do it.
If you insist on being dumb, your minimum bill will be $120/month plus fees and taxes. That's for 700 shared minutes, unlimited texts and 2gb each of data. More minutes and more data will cost more.

My husband and I each have a line with Verizon. When we signed up the only way we could get a package deal on messaging was to get the 1400 minute plan. Our monthly bill is $142.00. This is with out any unlimited data or texting.
I would not get cell phone service based on the phone.
We will have paid almost $4000.00 for a 2 year cell phone plan that we used very little by the time our contact is up in a few months.
I would get a prepaid unlimited plan. We are switching to prepaid when our contact is up. We will be going from having to pay $142.00 a month to around $400.00 per year.
When you do the math, a fancy phone is not worth all the extra money you have to pay to have it.
