iPhone 4 and upgrade?

I am due to get an upgrade in August, after the new iPhone 4 comes out. I am wondering how will this effect my upgrade? I plan on getting an iPhone and I might as well get the new one but I was wondering how much it will be with my upgrade discount and all that? Thanks.

If you're contract is due that close, you should be eligible for the lowest prices on the iPhone. The 16gb will be $199 and the 32gb will be $299. You will have to sign another 2-year contract to get the iPhone at that price though. Besides that, the other ways to get an iPhone without renewing your contract would be to try and check out one of the websites that are looking for people to test and review the iPhone 4g or look on somewhere like Craigslist or eBay, but on those two places you will have to pay a bit more than the $199/$299.

I think you could upgrade now-- dial *NEW# from your phone's keypad and AT&T will send you a text. Match their text up with one of the texts discussed in this guide... or just call AT&T at 611 and ask a rep.

dude, didnt you get the memo? ANYONE you has a contract ending ANYTIME in 2010 is eligable for an upgrade right now!
