whatsapp not saving images to gallery..pls help?

Question

As every one does i also installed whatsapp in my mobile.for some days my mobile was saving whatsapp images in a separate folder called whatsapp.After that it stopped saving images in my gallery.i even rebooted my phone but still not working.
i've turned on download images in whatsapp application but still not saving.
but when i go to file manager>whatsapp>images i can find all watsapp images, when i click on any image it says image not found..
pls help

Checkout to make sure there is a free space for the images. Yes by default WhatsApp saves images in a separate folder named as WhatsApp.

Check whether space is available on the storage of your phone. Recently Facebook bought WhatsApp and rolled out an update. After that update you can download WhatsApp images which are shared with you. If images are not shared with you then you can't download them. So this may be the reason.

I had same problems on my android. This is what I did to solve it. Go to file manager and delete (.nomedia) files in all whatsapp subfolders then move entire whatsapp file to removable storage then move back in to internal storage. You will immediately see Google photos starting to backup. Done
