I have gotten calls from my own number claiming to be Microsoft. When someone lies to be BEFORE I answer the phone, I know everything else is going to be a lie, so, if I answer, I lie to them and then call them very dirty names. I ask what sort of sex they like to do. THEY CALLED ME, so wtf..

It's a telemarketing company that's using fake telephone numbers to make contact with you so that you can't report them for being on the no call list or so that you can't trace them. Companies that commit identity theft in order to tell a market you are definitely scam companies! Under no circumstance do business with a company that has spoofed a telephone number! They committed identity theft to talk to you! Why shouldn't you trust them in any way shape or form?

Robo-calls sometimes do that if they detect no voice (being silent).
