i cant go online from my iphone, it says:

safari can't open the page.
the error was: "Operation could not be completed.(POSIX error 12 - Cannot allocate memory)"


any ideas what that means?? HELP

It means you got dooped like millions of others into buying a phone who's bugs weren't fixed before release. as has happened on every release of an Iphone. I recommend you take it back and get a different phone. Stay away from the Iphone.

I don't have an I phone so I can't speak with authority but it kind of sounds like you are out of memory. Did you load a lot of applications? Also you might want to see if Safari has an option to clear the cache (stores old web pages in case you go back).



Also see if you are exiting the apps correctly and not leaving them running in the background. You have Gigabytes of storage but only a limited amount of RAM. I am told if you are in an application you can press and hold the HOME button for 6 seconds and this forces the application to quit and clears the memory for reuse. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
