Hi. I'm planning to buy HTC HD2, which runs windows mobile 6.5. I really don't know whether I should be waiting for winmo 7, though. I read reviews that the phone running on 6.5 won't upgrade to winmo 7. Also that the HTC Sense UI won't be there in any winmo7 phones. and that there will be chances that you won't be able to install apps from your memory card and all. But I'm not sure whether or not using windows mobile 6.5 is bad or not. Is HTC HD2 good? Could it do any harm to me if i don't wait for windows mobile 7? would HTC Sense UI be better than the imposed windows mobile 7 UI?

1st. There is nothing ultimate about any version of Windows especially Vista. 2nd. In the past decade Microsoft has never released widely welcoming operating system. 3rd. The only upgrade to windows will be features. They never take time to iron out bugs and work on cleaning up code. Their business strategy is dead. The only reason people keep buying PCs is because they are scared of change and worried the transition will not be easy. Even with moderate specs you have included the current or new operating system will not use your hardware effectively. Save the trouble and start looking at Apple. The feature you will use in Vista and Windows 7 have been out for years, just not on the windows platform. Even when they do come out the will not run smooth or as effectively as they will on a Mac. I use Pc's and a Macbook. My Dualcore is upstairs and has been off for the past month or so. My macbook has replaced my desktop and not for convince, but because I have started to hate windows when I got my new laptop. my little 13" screen is sucks compared to my dual 24's on the pc, but one can only deal with the PC Bull@#$@ a short while after you relize why Apple keeps growing while Windows is always promising an experience that is not currently available for sale anywhere at any price.

HTC HD 2 is good but not perfect since most apps are still designed to be used with stylus. My friend just bought it. He likes it a lot, battery is small though. I read that WIN MO 7 will be without multitasking capability. it could have bugs(new). Then you could be better to wait a while after they release the win mo 7.How good is it? we don't really know.

I think it comes down to how soon you need it.

I personally will buy now since I am happy with WIN MO already, even win mo5 is enough for me. I personally own HTC touch HD. Beautifully enough for me. I hope this is helpful.
