For some reason I noticed today that all of the videos and pictures which were stored on my ext sd card in my android phone (the Galaxy Note 2) are missing. I looked in the file explorer on the phone and connected to my pc through explorer and each one shows that the sd card is not empty yet they show no files on the card. This leads me to believe the files are still there I just cant figure out how to recover them.

That is not difficult, you can try to use Hodo Photo Recovery software to do recovery for your Note2 SD card as soon as possible.

Just download the tool into your computer, connect your SD card with your computer and run the software.

And after scanning your SD card totally, you will find a list for recoverable files for your phone.

Just select the ones you want back and click "recover".

you need to pay attention that: DO NOT add more files into your SD card before recovery is done.
