My old man has just bought a new nokia 6300 in Singapore, but has opened it to find that the language is in Cantonese. What are the keystokes needed to change the language into English as obviously cannot understand any of the words to change it back :-)

设置 = Settings

初始设置 = Initial Set Up

语言 = Language

英语= English

You should find these settings, but not having a 6300 I can't be 100% sure they're the same.

You need to identify the icons....

The wrench in the main menu represents Settings. Click it. Then goto phone settings, just look for the icon of a 'phone' for that and click. The first setting that is available inside the 'phone settings' in Nokia phones is the 'language settings'. Click that and select the first available option in the list.. Its automatic.. It will set the phone language to the default.

I hope u know how the typical Nokia icons look like...

Just acknowledge me if I could help
