By asking about N series you probably know that they are all powered by Symbian. Older phones like N70 are powered by S60 2nd edition while newer ones like N73, N80 and N93 are powered by S60 3rd edition. So in terms of software front, they are almost the same. Older Symbian applications won't work with 3rd edition phones.

In terms of hardware, the different phones are tailered toward specific needs. N93 is for the feature geek who wants everything. It takes the best video among all the new N series phones. The tradeoff here is the huge size of the phone.

N80 is tailored towards business folks who want WiFi, decent camera, the highest resolution among all N series (352 x 416) and a relatively small phone. The tradeoff here is the small battery capacity, so-so camera performance, and arguably flaws in the sliding mechanism.

N73 is tailored towards folks want want great multimedia capabities but doesn't want a phone as big as N93. It retains autofocus and Carl Zeiss optics like N93, but the video department is weaker. It doesn't have WiFi neither.

So it really depends on your priorties and your budget (and maybe your pocket size). Personally I picked N80. Like other posters, I suggest you to study the reviews floating on the Internet to help you decide. Focus on things that people DON'T like about ther N series phones. Usually those are more revealing than your usual phone-cheerleading posts.

Hope it helps!

Hi

Although nokia n91 is advanced than n80 but whenever you're in doubt about any new gadgets try to look for the reviews that will help you to decide yourself, so here's what I suggest.

a) type nokia n80 (or n91) mobile review in the google search you'll find a lot of reviews from www. c.net & other sites. my own favourite one is www.mobile-review.com by eldar murtazin. Here's what he says about nokia n91

The first company smartphone supporting Wi-Fi and equipped with a hard drive. The company positions the phone as a musical device, since this hard drive capacity seems excessive for any other use. Another peculiarity is body made of stainless steel similar to Nokia 8800 .
