SIII or the newest Nexus (Nexus 4) which is actually faster than the SIII.

And don't listen to the asshat below me, he's obviously got the iphone and is going to recommend it, while I own neither, but have used both.

HTC favor, or experia. For the win. Blackberrys are ok, yet freeze or brake to really. Iphones are extremely extra perfect yet have there complications yet HTC are with the help of far the proper all round! look on the comments of htc, then take your %.:)

Galaxy SIII, Sprint Epic 4G Touch, Samsung Galaxy S2X Hercules, Note 2. I would steer you away from iPhones, Windows phones or Nokia based phones. Just get android or blackberry.

I am guessing you have at&t, so i consider you get a galaxy s3. I say this because it is cheaper, the screen is bigger, and because it runs on the android 4.0 ice cream platform so it is really fast.

iPhone 5. It feels much sleeker in your hand than a galaxy, it is all glass, and the back is alumium. Unlike the galaxy 3's cheap feeling plastic back and thin glass. Galaxy's are more prone to breaking.

The iPhone has a much better music store, App Store, and is just easier to use than a galaxy 3!

Hope I could help, write this from my iPhone.

Galaxy S III for a lot of features (including some that comes with the Galaxy Note II). The iPhone 5 is only good in terms of compactness and speed and of course it's ease of use. Keep in mind though the Galaxy S III is super fragile without a case. Sadly, all the new flagship phones this year will be nearly the same size as the Galaxy Note so it's kinda hard to recommend you any of the latest phones coming out.

Alternatively, you could also consider a Nexus 4 which is also a very nice phone that runs on the latest versions of Android.
