large question because of the fact all 3 of those telephones are superb. i could bypass in that order which you ordered them interior the question line. iPhone 3GS regular. The Palm Pre does look exceedingly damn outstanding although. All pals who've Blackberry Storms hate them and altered to AT&T to get the Iphone 3G instead, now they're in love with the iPhone. So 'nuff pronounced =)

I think apps is a killer for the iphone. Since there tons of them out there. The Pre has none (as did iphone when it first came out). For know, I would go with the 3g, and then maybe in 6 months do with either the Pre or the Samsung Galaxy (if and when a US carrier picks it, hopefully either T-mobile or AT&T since they use sim cards).

iPhone 3GS 16GB definitely you wont regret trust me, I have an iPhone 3G and I love it, my friend has a 3GS and it is amazing, everything wrong with the iPhone 3G they have fixed on the 3GS. Palm Pre is a good phone, and has potential, but webOS isn't well established and wont be perfect for at least a year now.

Also the 3GS is much more capable of playing 3D games at reasonable frame rates, and good gameplay if thats what your into =]. Not to mention the huge amount of 'useful apps' available on the App Store. Thanks

I would recomend the Palm Pre, right now it may not have many apps but its growing. Since you arent going to be using the phone for a lot of multi media getting an iPhone would be wasting your money since it was made for having tons of music apps and videos. The Palm Pre is better because you can multi task and do most of the things the iPhone does. Also remember that just because the iPhone is the most popular phone it doesnt mean you actually need it. Check the featured, and price differences depending on the carrier.

iPhone. There's just so much you can do with it! I have used Palm products and I still would stick with my iPhone. I think the Pre is still far behind on the speed and accessibility of the iPhone.

You can transfer all of your 100 songs and few vids onto the Palm Pre simply by connecting the USB cable to your computer. The Palm Pre functions as a USB Flash Memory Stick/Drive.

iPhone's mobile operating system is now obsolete as it cannot perform true multitasking. The iPhone will permit you to multitask applications within their apple-built apps but not with multiple 3rd party applications. Nor will the iPhone permit you to choose to return to any of multiple applications you had previously opened without having to relaunch the app from the start.

On the Palm Pre, it works just as it would for a desktop computer that supports true multitasking. You launch an application and another, and another, and they remaining running until you close (or swipe) them off the list of applications (cards) on your screen. There interface is amazingly smooth and cool. If you want to switch to any of the running applications, you can simply slide through the list of running apps and touch it to bring it to focus.

This means you can play your iTunes/MP3 song in the background, open 4 or more web browsers, receive Yahoo e-mail directly, send a text message, open your facebook, open your myspace all at the same time without skipping a beat:

Palm Pre's web browser is just as good as the iPhone with the same multi-touch screen functionality. The only exception is that the Palm Pre's web browser runs faster than the iPhone:

If you don't already have a GPS navigator, Palm Pre can give you directions right out of the box. It already includes talking turn-by-turn GPS navigation software so you don't have to buy an additional app. Just specify the designation and it will tell you where to exit, make turns, how far, and more.

The size of the Palm Pre is perfect. It's not long like an iPhone or fat and bulky, but small enough to fit in your pocket. Everyone knows a physical keyboard is better than an onscreen-keyboard you can't feel. Palm Pre's slide-out keyboard allows you to type much faster and with minimal mistakes.

Many of iPhone's 3rd party apps are likely going to be available for the Palm Pre. The same developers that created apps for the iPhone are itching to port their apps to increase their profits. So I wouldn't be surprised to see popular apps gradually appear in Palm Pre's Application Catalog within several months after the release of their Software Development Kit.

Considering how remarkable Palm Pre's first release has become in such a short period of time, it's no wonder why Palm Pre is such a threat to the iPhone.

Palm Pre is the clear and practical choice.

I like both, but I am going to go with the iPhone! Heres why-

It’s three devices in one.

iPhone is more than just a phone. It combines three devices in one: a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod, and a breakthrough Internet device. All that and more makes it the best phone you’ll ever use.

Revolutionary Phone

With the Multi-Touch interface on iPhone, you can make a call simply by tapping a name or number in your contacts or favorites list, your call log, or just about anywhere. Visual Voicemail lets you select and listen to messages in whatever order you want — just like email.

Widescreen iPod

iPhone shows off your content — music, movies, TV shows, and more — on a beautiful 3.5-inch display. Add to your collection by downloading music and video wirelessly

from the iTunes Store. Scroll

through songs and playlists

with the touch of a finger.

Even browse your album

artwork using Cover Flow.

Breakthrough Internet Device

iPhone uses fast 3G and Wi-Fi wireless connections to deliver rich HTML email, Maps with GPS, and Safari — the most advanced web browser on a mobile device. It has Google and Yahoo! search built in. And since iPhone multitasks, you can make a phone call while emailing a photo or surfing the web over a Wi-Fi or 3G connection.

It opens a whole new world of applications.

iPhone comes with some amazing applications. And you can choose from thousands more on the App Store and download them with a tap. Your iPhone gets even better with every new app. Play games. Be more productive. Keep yourself entertained. No matter what you want to do on iPhone, there’s an app for that.

Stay connected from anywhere.

Apps like Facebook let you use iPhone to share photos, status updates, and more with a few taps.

Play games a whole new way.

With iPhone, you can tilt and tap your way through groundbreaking games like Rolando.

Find out what’s for dinner.

Discover new restaurants on Urbanspoon by shaking your iPhone. What other phone does that?

It works like no other phone. With iPhone, Apple combined innovative hardware features with the world’s most advanced mobile operating system to redefine what a mobile phone can do. Applications work together seamlessly and they sync with your computer — whether you’re on a Mac or a PC. From its revolutionary Multi-Touch display to its intelligent keyboard to its smart sensors, iPhone is years ahead of any other mobile phone.

Intelligent Keyboard

The iPhone keyboard is software based, so it’s smarter and more adaptable than the physical keyboards on other phones.
