How can you tell if someone changed their phone number?

Okay so I have this friend whom i saw today. She told me she changed her number,but everytime i call or text her, the phone sounds like its still in service. The voicemail doesnt say "This number is no longer in service" or none of that. Is she ignoring me?? Or did she really changed her number. I even tryied calling her from a different number,but she never picked up. I was still able to leave voicemails myself. Im very confused,please help???

if a persons changed their number, the old number is no longer active. You will get the IVR stating that "this is no longer a working number".. or "the number your trying to reach is no longer active"... or something along those lines depending on the wirleless carrier...



A deactivated number WILL NOT RING... WILL NOT GO TO VOICEMAIL

here's what's going to happen.... they are going to get the bill, and it's going to be on there... they MAY see it... they MAY not.... if they do, and you haven't told her, then she's going to be PISSED that you didn't tell her and she has to pay for all of that.. if you do tell her then she can call up sprint or atnt or whatever you use and try to have that crap stopped... last resort is changing your number.. not that i condone this, in other words, you didn't hear it from me, but... if you know most of your mom's information, you can call up and say your her and tell them to have that crap taken off and that you left your phone etc etc.. i do wish you luck.. someone else said "Well you could jsut order a new SIM card for most networks will send you one for free and obviously it will have a different phone number." that could work too.... and.. you can probably have that done at the MALL... which i'm sure is someplace you go fairly often??

A few years ago, one of my friends changed her number when she got a new phone. I still had her old number and accidentally texted it one time. It was a creepy dude on the other end. Numbers can be reused. So it may still ring.

I call the cell number says it's changed/disconnected, but call it again and it gives me the voicemail message? what's going on? Is it changed or why does it go back and forth like that?
