No you are not !

You are NOT swapping christmas for an iPhone I like Christmas

OK bazinga

You will need your dad to look as this as now joking aside, there are other factors to consider and you may need to reconsider everything

re 02 follow the deal NOT the network, you can move change network quite easily with minimal disruption for a few hours on just one day by get a PAC code or as some have done with everybody offering 1000 plus text text everybody with the new number

If you want to keep your number

The cost on O2 @ £36.00 is £864.00 also PAYG and £15.00 is £860.00 over 2 year,

PAYG & Iphones are incompatible as £4.00 difference, overall

The price paid or tariffs commanded (no demanded) by iPhones...on any every network defy logic and gravity.

The multi award winning smartphone in 2011 is (was) the Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100. No other phone including the IP4S has won more awards

Both the SGS 2 and especially the SGS 3 are far superior to the iPhone4S not my opinion but fact!

also they will cost less and all 3 phones cost less on "3" than O2 { follow the deal not the network} (BOTH the SGS II & SGSIII cost less than the IP4S )

Here side by side is the IP4s and SGS 2 specification comprehensive and impartial review which should be read. The review highlights can be seen on pages 1 of each

http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=3621&idPhone2=4212

To pick the IP4S above the SGS 3 or SGS 2 is to pick the "bronze" medal phone and pay the most for it

So on 3 which has the "One Plan" All-you-can-eat data, 2,000 minutes 5,000 Three-to-Three min's.

IPHONE4S £49:00 HANDSET COST PLUS £34:00Pm X24 totals £865;00

SGS III £29:00 HANDSET COST PLUS £33:00Pm X24 totals £821:00

SGS II £29:00 HANDSET COST PLUS £29:00Pm x24 totals £725;00

(re-edit the compare does NOT save so listed individually)****

http://store.three.co.uk/view/product/ql_catalog/threecatdevice/2313

http://store.three.co.uk/view/product/ql_catalog/threecatdevice/2326

**** The one plan is the optimal plan ALL . If 2000 min's is TOO much you can opt for a lower allowance which will be cheaper even the IP4S which does win a prize as the most *xp*ns*v*

http://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_4s-review-665.php

The SGS II, to add another 32Gb Class 10 (highest speed rated microsd just another £21.50

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Class-Micro-Extreme-Speed/dp/B005FY61EK

A "non user replaceable battery" means you can't buy a spare as back up

The SGS III is the upgrade of the SGS II,

With the SGS 2 already a 'superior device" to the IP4S and then that device is upgraded. Not just an opinion cited in GSMarena above and Phonearena etc

You can still use apps on a pay as you go iPhone, it just might work out being quite expensive downloading them if you aren't connected to Wi-Fi. Having a contract with data allowance would make the most sense as, apps aside, the iPhone uses online features a lot.

Many apps will connect online, including Siri which uses the internet a lot, and many other features that you will most likely end up using including Facebook etc. Using a smartphone on payg doesn't really make much sense to me.

Don't forget, the iPhone 5 will be released on September 21st so it may be worth taking a look at that too.
